Optical Image Technology Client Michigan Millers To Speak at IASA Annual Conference Wednesday, May 14, 2008
State College, PA - Optical Image Technology (OIT), developer of the award-winning DocFinity suite of integrated workflow and document management software, announces that Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company will be speaking at the 2008 IASA (Insurance Accounting & Systems Association) Annual Educational Conference & Business Show in Seattle in June. The presentation will showcase the efficiencies Michigan Millers has achieved using diverse technologies that are integrated with OIT's DocFinity products. The session will take place at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
Greg Cook, Imaging Support Technician at Michigan Millers, will give a presentation entitled "Applying Enterprise Process Automation: Enhancing Services While Increasing ROI" on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. He will explain the steps the company took to plan, implement, and encourage its staff to embrace a system that has revolutionized service enterprise-wide. Since 2001, Michigan Millers has reduced paper generation by 90 percent, saved more than $150,000 annually in file maintenance costs through effective electronic file management, and significantly streamlined consumable waste. Processing times have shortened, and service has improved. The company‚s success lies in the integration of data capture, document management, email management, voice capture, business process automation software, and other technologies, enabling seamless communication and faster service.
